Skybase, the main headquarters of the Spectrum Organisation in New Captain Scarlet
Skybase, in New Captain Scarlet, is the flying aircraft carrier that serves as the command headquarters for the Spectrum Organisation. It is the NCS counterpart of Cloudbase in Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons.
Overview[]
Skybase is capable of launching not only aircraft (e.g., White Falcon Interceptors and Swift Passenger Jets) but also, to a degree, land vehicles (specifically, Skyrider Bikes) from its flight deck. These do not extend, however, to the Rhino tank-derived vehicle.
Rationale[]
Skybase in NCS, like Cloudbase in OCS, was constructed so that Spectrum's headquarters might be located not in any one nation on Earth but rather above all of them.
